Explore a large digital collage filled with retro advertisements from the 1950s and 1960s. More than 600 different ads come together in a composition rich in colour, typography, illustration and details that invite a closer look.
Creating this artwork took two years of work and countless edits in Photoshop. Each advertisement was placed within the larger composition to preserve the variety and character of the original imagery. The complete artwork extends over 6 metres without repeating a design.
The advertisements were scanned and the artwork was prepared for high-resolution printing. The result is a collage you can enjoy both from a distance and up close: explore individual ads, discover their illustrations and read their printed content. With hundreds of different images, there is always another detail to find.
The artwork is digitally printed on high-quality adhesive vinyl and finished with a highly durable waterproof laminate. This protective layer helps preserve the print while letting the many colours and details of the composition stand out.
